In spring 2009, Pamela Baker-Milller of Frances May, asked me to create a window display for her store's spring collection and one year anniversary. It was important that the design of the window would reflect the clothing on display and retain visibility into the store. To achieve this I produced a graphic with loose curves and overlapping shapes that swept
across the storefront; leaving several openings that would reframe passing pedestrians’ views of the clothing in the window. The design was cut from white vinyl and applied in three sections. Frances May is a clothing boutique in the West End, an area of Southwest Portland, Oregon. Visit their online store here and check out their blog here.
