(Viewed best on dark background.) These poster designs for a printed take-away were made for practice only, and were not commissioned. The series was a self-initiated assignment to find a local site that could benefit from printed matter. B Side 6 is a new seven story retail and studio building along East Burnside Street in Portland, Oregon.  The idea was that B Side 6 could benefit from the creation of a well-designed take away that would communicate their service

to the community, as well as to provide contact information for commercial interests and potential tenets. The printed piece could also represent its surrounding neighborhood by doubling as a map or guide for the area's retail, restaurants, and entertainment. As a portfolio piece, this project is intended to represent a level of understanding about the impact that printed matter can make in communication.
